Spectators: 7391 (Terracing: 5545, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Rosales's Gaspar Chap started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Club Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Chap came free, but Humberto Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horacio Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Feliciano Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Berdaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Estevon in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rosales's Humberto Paulista threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaspar Chap, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Berdaitz having to interfere. Feliciano Berdaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Aresti's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Arnulfo Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Malvinas Argentinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Club Malvinas Argentinas's Kléberson Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliciano Berdaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnulfo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Feliciano Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aresti in the 42nd minute of the match. Humberto Paulista was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Santiago Ilixo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Ilixo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Aresti to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosales's Feliciano Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Aresti in the 52nd minute of play. If Miguel Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gaspar Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosales's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Rosales's zone, Arnulfo Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Berdaitz came out of the goal and Arnulfo Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Club Malvinas Argentinas's Miguel Aresti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliciano Berdaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnulfo Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Berdaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Aresti in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Cebo in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Humberto Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Aresti in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Berdaitz saved Rosales from getting behind. Arnulfo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Feliciano Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arnulfo Estevon came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Club Malvinas Argentinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Estevon couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Club Malvinas Argentinas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosales throughout the match.
