Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Salazar's Isaias Oriche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomás Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Julian Olayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Amador Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Anselmo Dacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salazar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rancios CdB the free kick. Amador Izotz had several of the Salazar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julian Olayo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amador Izotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Olayo having to make a save. Teofilo Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Julian Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Salazar booed when Rancios CdB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Teofilo Rosio fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Leonides Gudesteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Leon Gonzo made a huge save. Nicasio Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Laurendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Nicasio Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Julian Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Rancios CdB got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Toribio. Isaias Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Gonzo having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Rancios CdB's Teofilo Rosio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Olayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes, Leonides Gudesteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salazar and the Rancios CdB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Salazar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. Julian Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Leonides Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leon Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rancios CdB's Leon Gonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Oriche in the 97th minute of play.
