Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abelardo Bittor made the kick off which started today's match. If Mario Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AMERICA's Hector Chorache got a free kick in the 6th minute. Abelardo Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosales's Gaspar Chap got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rosales's Ramiro Dolcet got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mario Rivero scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Berdaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Horacio Cebo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosales's protests and gave Horacio Cebo a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Rosales got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Cebo. Ciro Abadie hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Rivero in the 29th minute of play forced Rosales's goalkeeper Feliciano Berdaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Feliciano Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Bittor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Berdaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Abelardo Bittor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Berdaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Horacio Cebo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brice Quigley. Brice Quigley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Brice Quigley made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Horacio Cebo sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Gaspar Chap made the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Berdaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Rivero in the 52nd minute. Abelardo Bittor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Feliciano Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Berdaitz was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Abelardo Bittor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abelardo Bittor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosales's goalkeeper Feliciano Berdaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliciano Berdaitz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mario Rivero sent off a good shot on target. When AMERICA's Abelardo Bittor in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosales's goalie prevented a goal. Ramiro Dolcet's late challenge caught a AMERICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Dolcet helped the player get up and apologised. Ramiro Dolcet kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Bittor in the 72nd minute of play forced Rosales's goalkeeper Feliciano Berdaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Mario Rivero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Quigley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Chap in the 76th minute of the match. When Abelardo Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the AMERICA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Bittor couldn't finish the play. Mario Rivero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Feliciano Berdaitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Erasmo Baleren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AMERICA the free kick. In the 83rd minute, one of Rosales:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosales. Feliciano Berdaitz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mario Rivero sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosales's goalkeeper Feliciano Berdaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rosales's zone, Abelardo Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Berdaitz came out of the goal and Abelardo Bittor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
