Isaias Micael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Paz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Martín Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Teobaldo Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Martín Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Felipe Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Franchescolianos 09-12-18 defense, Isaias Micael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martín Paz. Severo Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Paz having to interfere. Martín Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Oxarra in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Mary On A Cross were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Isaias Micael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franchescolianos 09-12-18's Martín Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Franchescolianos 09-12-18 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Franchescolianos 09-12-18's zone, Teobaldo Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Paz came out of the goal and Teobaldo Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martín Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Erruki in the 56th minute of play. Bruno Cordeiro got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Juan Erruki. If Teobaldo Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teobaldo Oxarra in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martín Paz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Martín Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martín Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Franchescolianos 09-12-18 booed when Mary On A Cross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Severo Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mary On A Cross's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Isaias Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mary On A Cross's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martín Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Franchescolianos 09-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Erruki came free, but Martín Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
