Placido Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Frascuelo in the 5th minute of play. Placido Ellande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Mendiko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Igon in the 9th minute of play forced London FC's goalkeeper Placido Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, London FC's Placido Ellande got control of the ball when Fernando Liher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Gustavo Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of London FC booed when Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Muno struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Pascual Enmanuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for London FC. With a little luck, London FC's Placido Ellande got control of the ball when Feliciano Frascuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, London FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Mendiko came free, but Placido Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Mendiko in the 32nd minute of the match. Placido Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Mendiko in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, London FC's Eduardo Gutierrez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Mendiko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Placido Ellande came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo Mendiko slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Mendiko was the one to do the kick off. Placido Ellande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Liher went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Placido Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Gustavo Mendiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Ellande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Placido Ellande came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV's Fernando Liher. But to his dismay, Fernando Liher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Placido Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Liher in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Gustavo Mendiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Ellande. London FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Mendiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Raimundo Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. London FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Enmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Placido Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Frascuelo in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Serafo in the 96th minute of play forced Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV's goalkeeper Pascual Enmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
