Spectators: 7321 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haroldo Barto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fernando Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isla Ortigia's Joaquin Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Frascuelo in the 7th minute of play. Fernando Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joaquin Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Liher came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Liher couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Barto got free with Pascual Enmanuel in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Frascuelo in the 28th minute of play forced Isla Ortigia's goalkeeper Joaquin Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Fernando Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernando Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Fernando Liher made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Adrio. Isla Ortigia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Isla Ortigia's Ernesto Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Isla Ortigia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Mendiko to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Feliciano Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Mendiko hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Gustavo Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Gustavo Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Isla Ortigia defense, Fernando Liher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Adrio. The Isla Ortigia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Adrio should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Isla Ortigia's Joaquin Adrio got control of the ball when Fernando Liher tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Federico Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isla Ortigia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV the free kick. Federico Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gustavo Mendiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Feliciano Frascuelo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Joaquin Adrio to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th match minute, Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Henry to maneuver through the defense. If Gustavo Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Igon in the 90th minute of play forced Isla Ortigia's goalkeeper Joaquin Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vélez Sarsfield de Rio IV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
