Esteban Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Haroldo Barto sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Arixo in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Larrea AFC booed when Isla Ortigia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Adrio having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Haroldo Barto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Larrea AFC's Esteban Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Larrea AFC from getting a goal against them. Honorato Suero hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Honorato Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Igor Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 51st minute, Larrea AFC's Victorino Dominic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Adrio. Joaquin Adrio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 55 minutes into the game, Igor Arixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Adrio. Igor Arixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 60 minutes into the match, Larrea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Maule came free, but Esteban Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Larrea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Ilixo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Arixo in the 71st minute of play forced Isla Ortigia's goalkeeper Joaquin Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Larrea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Barto came free, but Esteban Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Adrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Dominic in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Isla Ortigia's zone, Dario Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Adrio came out of the goal and Dario Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dario Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Roderigo having to interfere. Esteban Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Maule's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Sebastian Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Larrea AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Isla Ortigia side.
