An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Caradaro in the 6th minute of play forced Isla Ortigia's goalkeeper Joaquin Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Ruperto Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FEYENOORD Sporting's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Sebastian Maule scored to the left of an out of position Damian Trzaskoma, making the score, 1-0. Sebastian Maule took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Trzaskoma. Haroldo Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Adrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Rubio went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 林西翀 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Joaquin Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Marcelo Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FEYENOORD Sporting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Joaquin Adrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Oskarbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Joaquin Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FEYENOORD Sporting booed when Isla Ortigia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 94 minutes, Ernesto Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isla Ortigia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FEYENOORD Sporting players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
