After 16 minutes, Martin Tome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferro carril Oeste and the Aldosivi MDQ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldosivi MDQ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Cresenciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Pedro Cordareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Atilano Bartuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, Aldosivi MDQ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Nesor to maneuver through the defense. Big Mikes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Bartuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Pedro Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Arano's late challenge caught a Aldosivi MDQ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Arano helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Cresenciano to make the kick off. Ferro carril Oeste's Bernardo Iaki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ferro carril Oeste from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Cresenciano in the 53rd minute of play. Bernardo Iaki made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fermin Virila sent off a good shot on target. Atilano Bartuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Pedro Cordareo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo. Atilano Bartuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Aldosivi MDQ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. In the 70thth minute of the game Dalmacio Cresenciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferro carril Oeste's Bernardo Iaki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Tome struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Atilano Bartuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro carril Oeste. Dalmacio Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bernardo Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Big Mikes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Nesor in the 82nd minute of play forced Ferro carril Oeste's goalkeeper Bernardo Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christian Heli fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferro carril Oeste's protests and gave Christian Heli a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Heli hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Aldosivi MDQ's Fermin Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
