Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bertil Fors started the match with the kick off. Nereo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Berart having to interfere. Arnulfo Chorache made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Flavio Taurino immediately put the ball in play. 9 minutes into the match, Cowboys's Alejandro Gomez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Libertad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anibal Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Fors in the 10th minute of play. When Flavio Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saforcada's protests and gave Flavio Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Farias took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Libertad. Anibal Libertad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bertil Fors sped through Saforcada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Libertad. 28 minutes into the match, Saforcada's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Fors came free, but Anibal Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Munio took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Berart. Alberto Berart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Flavio Taurino was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Saforcada getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Flavio Taurino hit a great ball. Anibal Libertad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertil Fors went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Handi in the 41st minute of play. Anibal Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Handi made a kick off. Saforcada's Anibal Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Fors in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Saforcada's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Fors came free, but Anibal Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cowboys's Bertil Fors in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saforcada's goalie prevented a goal. Anibal Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Fors in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Ernesto Farias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cowboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ernesto Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Belmiro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Saforcada getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Angel Belmiro hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Angel Belmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alberto Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nereo Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nereo Handi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberto Berart firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute Ernesto Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernesto Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cowboys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
