After a rather tough play, Garompas FC's Maximo Oinaz got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes Parque General Paz got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Monico. Moises Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Nunes to make the kick off. Parque General Paz's Carlos Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Celio in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Garompas FC defense, Teobaldo Lop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Jordy. The Garompas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Jordy should have stopped the shot. Paulo Nunes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 57th playminute.
