The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Nardo got free with Carlos Amor in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Parque General Paz's Paulo Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Erauso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
