In the 9th minute, Ulises Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jonathan Jayvier took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnulfo Bixintxo to make any attempt to save it. Alvaro Gumaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Bixintxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Gumaro ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Marcial Tipi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Juanilda FC's Arnulfo Bixintxo. Arnulfo Bixintxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andres Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alfonso Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Paulino Olayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Monico came out of the goal and Paulino Olayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Gumaro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Gumaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Jayvier in the 72nd minute of play forced Juanilda FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Bixintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matias Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Juanilda FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Andres Alvarez hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Marcial Tipi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Bixintxo. Juanilda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Tipi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 82 played minutes Vieja del agua got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Tipi. After 84 minutes, Paulino Olayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juanilda FC and the Vieja del agua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulino Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Jayvier in the 89th minute of play forced Juanilda FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Bixintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Juanilda FC booed when Vieja del agua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Jonathan Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Bixintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Paulino Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juanilda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Olayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Monico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vieja del agua fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juanilda FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
