The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Alvarez got free with Conrado Hug in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Malleo AFC's Ramon Guerau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Bixintxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Paulino Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Conrado Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Malleo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Juanilda FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Koldo. Adan Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arnulfo Bixintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adan Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Alvarez got free with Conrado Hug in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Malleo AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Veremundo to make the kick off. Andres Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malleo AFC's goalkeeper Conrado Hug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Juanilda FC's 康峰益 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 康峰益 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juanilda FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 康峰益 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 73 minutes into the match, Malleo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Olayo came free, but Conrado Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Malleo AFC's Adan Veremundo fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Arnulfo Bixintxo was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The referee ignored Juanilda FC's protests and gave Teobaldo Koldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Teobaldo Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Juanilda FC's zone, Ramon Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Bixintxo came out of the goal and Ramon Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Juanilda FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Koldo. Paulino Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Conrado Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Hug having to interfere.
