The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Rivas in the 4th minute of play forced Coni's goalkeeper Rogelio Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Romeo Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coni's goalkeeper Rogelio Elodio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Prospero Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jonatan Argina from a close distance when the talented Maximino Mingo managed to make a qualified save. Inter Miami FC's players were relieved. Rogelio Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Rivas in the 27th minute of play. Dionisio Duardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Elodio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Maximino Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Santiago in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Coni's Maximino Mingo threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narciso Santiago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute, Dionisio Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Inter Miami FC's Romeo Rivas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Elodio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Narciso Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rogelio Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Argina in the 61st minute of play. Inter Miami FC's Gervasio Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami FC's Nicolas Hegoi got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Eloy Llin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Mingo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Coni getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jaime Lobo hit a great ball. If Dionisio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Dionisio Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Rivas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Rogelio Elodio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Argina in the 94th minute of play forced Inter Miami FC's goalkeeper Maximino Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
