Romeo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Pereyra in the 9th minute of the match. If Teofilo Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Vincent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Severo Lamberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jeepers Creepers FC and the Valendrada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Valendrada FC booed when Jeepers Creepers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Cloyo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 21 minutes of play Jeepers Creepers FC's Severo Lamberto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Valendrada FC booed when Jeepers Creepers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Buinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Jon was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Teofilo Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Valendrada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. Romeo Jon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Valendrada FC's Teofilo Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jeepers Creepers FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Primitivo Gutierrez hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, one of Jeepers Creepers FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Cloyo to make the kick off. Teofilo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Vincent having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Valendrada FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roque Jaizki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roque Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Justo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Jeepers Creepers FC defense, Teofilo Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Vincent. The Jeepers Creepers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Vincent should have stopped the shot. If Teofilo Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeepers Creepers FC's Arnaldo Vincent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Astigar in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Ihazintu in the 87th minute of play forced Jeepers Creepers FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Vincent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valendrada FC had won after a very even match.
