But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Senen couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes of play, Barrancas's Silverio Escobar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timmy Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Flavio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Senen in the 19th minute of play forced Dietrich's goalkeeper Flavio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Silverio Escobar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Jakobsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Dietrich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Santiago Txanton scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Alonso, making the score, 0-7. Timmy Jakobssons short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Flavio Alonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Flavio Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Escobar in the 58th minute. Timmy Jakobsson took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Alonso. Flavio Alonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 62nd minute, Silverio Escobar made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Alonso. Dietrich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Timmy Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Alonso having to interfere. Flavio Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Senen in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Dietrich's Flavio Alonso got control of the ball when Timmy Jakobsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Argi during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Dietrich got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Argi. Flavio Alonso made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Timmy Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Escobar got free with Flavio Alonso in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Alonso was a little too slow when Daniel Nef got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-11. Flavio Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Dietrich from getting a goal against them. When Timmy Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Barrancas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dietrich.
