Manuel Heli hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Alan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Felipillo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Flavio Alonso 9 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Eusebio Felipillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Flavio Alonso to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Dietrich's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Shearer came free, but Flavio Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Alan Shearer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Alonso. Dietrich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Shearer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Felipillo in the 29th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Colón's Flavio Alonso threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusebio Felipillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Alonso was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Dietrich from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Sein got free with Flavio Alonso in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Alonso came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colón's Romulo Caton. But to his dismay, Romulo Caton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Colón's Alan Shearer suffered a sprained foot after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Julian Maiorga charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Maiorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Dietrich got a freekick which was hit by Julian Maiorga.

52 minutes into the match, Eusebio Felipillo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Dietrich's Flavio Alonso. Flavio Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Enrique Sein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Flavio Alonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Felipillo in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Laureano Eyague left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Dietrich's Julian Maiorga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Romulo Caton, made in the 66th minute of the game. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Felipillo in the 70th minute of play. Flavio Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Caton in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Damaso Gonza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dietrich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colón the free kick. The supporters of Colón booed when Dietrich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Santiago Bonomelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colón's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Bonomelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Felipillo in the 78th minute of play forced Dietrich's goalkeeper Flavio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Sein in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dietrich's zone, Eusebio Felipillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Alonso came out of the goal and Eusebio Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Colón's Eusebio Felipillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Alonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Flavio Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Caton, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Felipillo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Alonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Bitxintxo in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Eusebio Felipillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Colón walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
