The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Bernebe during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute Fernando Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Eleder in the 17th minute of play forced Dietrich's goalkeeper Flavio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Añelo's Fernando Etxekopar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Norberto Eleder made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Alonso. Dietrich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Norberto Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Flavio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Norberto Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Alonso made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fernando Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Dietrich's zone, Norberto Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Alonso came out of the goal and Norberto Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Norberto Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Etxekopar struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Flavio Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Añelo. 73 minutes into the game, Norberto Eleder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Añelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dietrich the free kick. A collision led to Añelo getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Norberto Eleder hit a great ball. Flavio Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Eleder in the 78th minute. Marcial Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Astigar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Añelo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Añelo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dietrich throughout the match.
