The audience was convinced that Saturnino Aragones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Augusto de Queirós was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When Santiago Txanton came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Txanton couldn't finish the play. With his leg Zé Augusto de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Los Nuevos Santos FC's Saturnino Aragones fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Los Nuevos Santos FC's 吴震志 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Txanton in the 21st minute of play. Santiago Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner ended in Santiago Txanton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Nuevos Santos FC's 吴震志 did a great save. In the 34th minute Timmy Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 吴震志 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. 吴震志 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Santiago Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Txanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Txanton in the 47th minute of play forced Los Nuevos Santos FC's goalkeeper 吴震志 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Jakobsson made a kick off. A collision led to Los Nuevos Santos FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hermengildo Marin hit a great ball. Barrancas's Santiago Txanton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Nuevos Santos FC. If Timmy Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Erramun charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Erramun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Nuevos Santos FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Jakobsson got free with 吴震志 in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Silverio Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Aragones took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Augusto de Queirós. Zé Augusto de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 84th minute Los Nuevos Santos FC were awarded a corner. Emanuel Orlo went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fulgencio Botello hit a great ball. Barrancas's Timmy Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Los Nuevos Santos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrancas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
