Flavio Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute German Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Honorato Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dietrich's goalkeeper Flavio Alonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgrano's Severino Pereyra got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dietrich getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Armando Baladi hit a great ball. The Dietrich players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgrano were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Felo to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Honorato Felo from a close distance when the talented Flavio Alonso managed to make a qualified save. Dietrich's players were relieved. Gervasio Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Alonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Flavio Alonso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Ieltxu got free with Flavio Alonso in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Melchor Ieltxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Alonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Dietrich's Flavio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Fernado in the 73rd minute of play. Flavio Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Bernardino Argi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dietrich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano the free kick. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Dietrich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Hotz in the 78th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Belgrano's Flavio Alonso threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Federico Fernado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
