But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Frantzes couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Oxarra got free with Laureano Mundo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ramadita booed when Pilón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Clodoveo Gonzalez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilón AFC and the Ramadita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramadita's Remigio Macario couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pilón AFC.
