After 2 played minutes Cieneguilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Lorien. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Fernandes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Tauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eleuterio Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gobernador Costa F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Tauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes of play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Segundo Sabino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cecilio Tauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cieneguilla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 17th play minutes Aristides Fernandes shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Cecilio Tauro and just under the crossbar into goal. 22 minutes into the match, Cieneguilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Chano came free, but Cecilio Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Victorio Chano made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Tauro. Cieneguilla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ezequiel Ralondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Weterio in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Cieneguilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Locaio came free, but Cecilio Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Eleuterio Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Weterio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Weterio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Eleuterio Asur got a free kick in the 50th minute. Arsenio Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Ralondo having to interfere. If Fabian Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Fernandes in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Jatsu Obregon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Weterio in the 70th minute of play. Cecilio Tauro came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes. But to his dismay, Aristides Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 75th minute, Eleuterio Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Tauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ezequiel Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Weterio in the 80th minute of the match. Cecilio Tauro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victorio Chano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Eleuterio Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gobernador Costa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Asur got free with Cecilio Tauro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Tauro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristides Fernandes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Lucio Mede sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Ralondo skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Gobernador Costa F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cieneguilla AFC.
