Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacobo Estevez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Justo Dacio. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Marcelino Dayam hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes catamarca faa got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Basualdo. Zacarias Rodas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Dacio. Justo Dacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Jacobo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the catamarca faa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Estevez couldn't finish the play. When Gaston Franco fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenos Aires Galaxy's protests and gave Gaston Franco a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as catamarca faa's Zacarias Rodas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Dacio. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. Justo Dacio made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Zacarias Rodas sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Egun was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Zacarias Rodas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the catamarca faa and the Buenos Aires Galaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelino Dayam's late challenge caught a catamarca faa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Egun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nicasio Vincent made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Patricio Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Basualdo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Basualdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to catamarca faa getting a freekick after 89 minutes play.
