Midland's Blas Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Napier charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Napier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rosendo Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Roberto Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Justo Dacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Midland's Blas Erramu suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 31 minutes, Gaston Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenos Aires Galaxy and the Midland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Midland's Tadeo Papo was substituted for Blas Erramu. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buenos Aires Galaxy! Christian Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Tadeo Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Napier scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Dei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Tadeo Papo scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Dacio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Justo Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Midland's zone, Juan Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Dei came out of the goal and Juan Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Gombal in the 66th minute of play forced Buenos Aires Galaxy's goalkeeper Justo Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Gombal scored 3-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Dacio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Midland's Christian Emmanuel made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justo Dacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenos Aires Galaxy's goalkeeper Justo Dacio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Justo Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Papo in the 85th minute of play. Midland's Orlando Dei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Midland from getting a goal against them. Ismael Lauaxeta charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Buenos Aires Galaxy's Rosendo Napier in 92 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Orlando Dei guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 95 minutes of play, Midland's Dante Gombal made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justo Dacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the game, Cristobal Katia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Midland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires Galaxy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Midland's Cristobal Katia got a free kick in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Midland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buenos Aires Galaxy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
