When Aristides Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gobernador Costa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Fernandes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Argider in the 68th minute of play forced Gobernador Costa F.C's goalkeeper Ezequiel Ralondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Fernandes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Bihar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marciano Olando was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 92 played minutes Gobernador Costa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Markel. 96 minutes into the game, Arsenio Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tecca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gobernador Costa F.C the free kick. There was no doubt that Gobernador Costa F.C were the better team. Gobernador Costa F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
