Cecilio Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Silbestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cecilio Tauro made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Filiberto Bartoli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cecilio Tauro. The goal made the score 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Cieneguilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Bartoli came free, but Cecilio Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Pacorro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cecilio Tauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Pacorro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Cieneguilla AFC's Saturnino Sedeni got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Filiberto Bartoli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cieneguilla AFC's Cecilio Tauro didn't even have to move. Cecilio Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Celso Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
