The supporters of Gobernador Costa F.C booed when Juve Jn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Sabino in the 11th minute of play. With 13 minutes on the clock, Silverio Markel commited a dangerous tackle. Leandro Santikurtz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Maximo Remicio right hand side. In the 30th match minute, Juve Jn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Fernandes in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Remicio saved Juve Jn from getting behind. Maximo Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Remicio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Gobernador Costa F.C got a corner. Juve Jn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Santikurtz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flavio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ezequiel Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Victorio Chano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gobernador Costa F.C's Ezequiel Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Ponciano in the 64th minute of play. Aristides Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Maximo Remicio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Fernandes got free with Maximo Remicio in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Gobernador Costa F.C's Victorio Chano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Remicio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juve Jn's Maximo Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Chano in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Aristides Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gobernador Costa F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Remicio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Segundo Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorio Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Remicio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gobernador Costa F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
