Miguel Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Izotz in the 8th minute of the match. When benja fc's Benito Cordeiro in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ledesma's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Bidari during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ildefonso Bidari kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Cordeiro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Tonio saved Ledesma from getting behind. Miguel Tonio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Galo in the 15th minute. Arsenio Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Abechuco in the 19th minute of play. Miguel Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Bidari in the 23rd minute of the match. Hugo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Ledesma getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ildefonso Bidari hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Ledesma got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Guillerme. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Melquiades Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. benja fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Miguel Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Galtero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Miguel Tonio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ledesma's Victor Odilon got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Abechuco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Victor Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledesma and the benja fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ildefonso Bidari came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ledesma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Bidari couldn't finish the play. Benito Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Tonio having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Ledesma's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Cordeiro came free, but Miguel Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Segundo Naike fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ledesma's protests and gave Segundo Naike a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Ledesma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Naike to maneuver through the defense. Benito Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, benja fc's Mauro Galo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Fernan Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma's zone, Benito Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Tonio came out of the goal and Benito Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Hugo Diaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Miguel Tonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Benito Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
