Shortcock F.C.'s Paolo Tximitx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Shortcock F.C. from getting a goal against them. Fidel Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Bidari might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Tximitx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Bidari ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Paolo Tximitx managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Ledesma's Ildefonso Bidari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ildefonso Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Paolo Tximitx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Tximitx was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Teodoro Arotza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Arotza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Ledesma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Arotza to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Federico Ekhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Shortcock F.C.'s Joaquin Bernard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Tonio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Paolo Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Tximitx having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Abechuco in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Tximitx saved Shortcock F.C. from getting behind. In the 44th minute Fidel Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Tximitx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shortcock F.C.'s Paolo Tximitx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Abechuco in the 46th minute of play. Ledesma's Ildefonso Bidari got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Ekhi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paolo Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Bidari in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Shortcock F.C.'s Jairo Playo got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Ledesma's Miguel Tonio got control of the ball when Joaquin Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Ekhi in the 59th minute of play. Joaquin Bernard struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Miguel Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shortcock F.C.. A collision led to Shortcock F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ladislao Savier hit a great ball. When Fidel Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ledesma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Abechuco couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ildefonso Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play, Ledesma's Fidel Abechuco made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Tximitx was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Tonio made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Joaquin Bernard sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Abechuco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Tximitx having to make a save.
