In the 5thth minute of the game Alfonso Su who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Humilde fc's Victor Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Humilde fc's Modesto Satordi got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Humilde fc's zone, Eleuterio Chayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Machado came out of the goal and Eleuterio Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Humilde fc getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Modesto Satordi hit a great ball. Victor Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Su in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Marengo booed when Humilde fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Eleuterio Chayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Victor Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marengo's Eleuterio Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Su in the 39th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Txanton during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Txanton hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Damian Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marengo and the Humilde fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Marengo got a freekick which was hit by Damian Vidal. The Humilde fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marengo were winning 0-2.

Eleuterio Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Marengo's Alfonso Su in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Humilde fc's goalie prevented a goal. Humilde fc's Victor Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Su in the 76th minute of play. Juan Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Su in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Machado saved Humilde fc from getting behind. Modesto Satordi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Valentin Isauro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Humilde fc's Victor Machado didn't even have to move. Victor Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Su in the 89th minute of the match. Eleuterio Chayo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Marengo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Marengo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Humilde fc.
