Mollaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLON the free kick. In the 20th minute, Aureliano Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Celestino Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mollaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Natal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Iban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Mollaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Oriol to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Latkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Santos Iban made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Guerau made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Marcones in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Natal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Unai during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mollaco booed when COLON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Latkiewicz took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Iban. Santos Iban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. COLON's Edgard Urdaspal was substituted for Aureliano Unai. COLON's Rogelio Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Marko in the 73rd minute of play. Celestino Guerau in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rogelio Natal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The COLON support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
