The referee ignored Calzada's protests and gave Silvestre Hibai a yellow card for diving instead. Silvestre Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Silverio Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dante Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Elorri came out of the goal and Alfonso Su tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

53 minutes into the match, Calzada's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Su came free, but Mauricio Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Calzada's goalkeeper Mauricio Elorri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Chayo. After 57 played minutes Marengo got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Isauro. Mauricio Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Calzada booed when Marengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Oier didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marengo reached it. A collision led to Calzada getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcelino Lehior hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Marengo's Alfonso Su slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Elorri. That made the score 1-1 after 78 minutes of play. Eleuterio Chayo in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauricio Elorri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Marengo's zone, Silverio Olando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Sancho came out of the goal and Silverio Olando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dante Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Chayo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mauricio Elorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marengo. Alfonso Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Elorri having to interfere.
