But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Opilano couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Pascual Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calzada's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Frasquito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Silverio Olando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Olandos short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Jimeno Frasquito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Calzada's Silverio Olando got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MAROCOS's Jimeno Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Opilano in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Calzada getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Maximino Gerazan hit a great ball. Mauricio Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fulgencio Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mauricio Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Bitxintxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mauricio Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Bitxintxo in the 38th minute of play forced Calzada's goalkeeper Mauricio Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Calzada booed when MAROCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Calzada's Pascual Opilano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Frasquito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimeno Frasquito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Olando went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Bitxintxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fulgencio Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Frasquito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Olando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 55 in the game by Eduardo Musko from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Elorri managed to make a qualified save. Calzada's players were relieved. Mauricio Elorri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Pascual Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Frasquito having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Sixto Cedro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAROCOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calzada the free kick. Sixto Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pascual Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jimeno Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silvestre Hibai fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calzada's protests and gave Silvestre Hibai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Silvestre Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Elorri having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Eduardo Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Uhin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Silverio Olando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Frasquito having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Eduardo Musko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Elorri. Calzada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Musko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MAROCOS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
