Fausto Osasun's late challenge caught a Equino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Osasun helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Osasun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Equino FC's Freddy Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Guillerme in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ruthian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Pasqual came free, but Leonardo Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes Ruthian FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafino Mogel who took care of the corner kick. Ruthian FC's Leonardo Beliran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ruthian FC from getting a goal against them. Fausto Osasun got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Equino FC's Esteve Natal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 26 played minutes Ruthian FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Fernandez. In the 30th minute, Damaso Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Equino FC's Prospero Mederi got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Damaso Lartaun made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Guillerme hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Mogel in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Beliran saved Ruthian FC from getting behind. A collision led to Ruthian FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pablo Guillerme hit a great ball. After 73rd play minutes Serafino Mogel shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Leonardo Beliran and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ruthian FC's zone, Serafino Mogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Beliran came out of the goal and Serafino Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Sabin having to interfere. Pablo Guillerme hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes, Esteve Natal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ruthian FC's Leonardo Beliran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aquilino Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Equino FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
