The Equino FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. el más grande were winning 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Equino FC's Cornelio Santos got a free kick in the 57th minute. el más grande's Alfonso Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Natal in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Equino FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Jacindo. Cornelio Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornelio Santos was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Fermin Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Mogel might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Evangelista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafino Mogel ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Equino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Mercurio came free, but Freddy Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Mercurio in the 75th minute of the match. When Saverio Mercurio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the el más grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Mercurio couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Lazcano got free with Freddy Sabin in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Equino FC's goalkeeper Freddy Sabin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Lazcano. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Equino FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
