In the 18th minute, Aureliano Oton made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Acevedo. Detroit Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Guilabertus to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Piearres got free with Nemesio Acevedo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 87 minutes, Mauricio Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nasaló's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Piearres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Guilabertus in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Alberto Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Nasaló's Bartolo Maju ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nemesio Acevedo. Nemesio Acevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Nasaló's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
