But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Benino couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, La guadaña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Orlandus came free, but Maximo Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Juni juni FC's Nunez Lauaxeta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Cucao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximo Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Sengrat in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, La guadaña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Eger to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cucao having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, La guadaña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Orlandus came free, but Maximo Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Juni juni FC's zone, Marcelo Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Cresconio came out of the goal and Marcelo Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La guadaña FC's Maximo Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Urtsin in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Lauaxeta got free with Maximo Cucao in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute Edgard Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Cucao made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Marco Benino sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Urtsin made a kick off. The supporters of La guadaña FC booed when Juni juni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximo Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Urtsin in the 62nd minute of play. If Marcelo Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Lauaxeta in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juni juni FC's goalkeeper Justo Cresconio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximo Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Urtsin in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mauro Artal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La guadaña FC's Marcelo Odol got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of La guadaña FC booed when Juni juni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position.
