The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ruthian FC's Pablo Guillerme got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Pablo Guillerme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Detroit Lions's Nemesio Acevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Guillerme in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Ruthian FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Osasun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Guillerme got free with Nemesio Acevedo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ruthian FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eriberto Santiago hit a great ball. Pablo Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nemesio Acevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruthian FC. In the 32nd minute, Ruthian FC's Pablo Guillerme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pablo Guillerme charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Guillerme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pablo Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruthian FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Guillerme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Ruthian FC's Pablo Guillerme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Acevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pablo Guillermes short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Nemesio Acevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pablo Guillerme made the kick off in the second half. When Pablo Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ruthian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Guillerme couldn't finish the play. Pablo Guillerme took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Acevedo. Nemesio Acevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 68th minute, Carolo Che fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arturo Oso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nemesio Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fausto Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Acevedo. Detroit Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Pablo Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ruthian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Guillerme couldn't finish the play.
