In the 20th minute, Armando Ranolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, La Curtiembre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Mogel came free, but Endura Arreguia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Equino FC's goalkeeper Freddy Sabin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteve Natal hit a great ball. Abelardo Sansone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Sabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Armando Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Sabin having to interfere. Freddy Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Nahia in the 77th minute of play forced Equino FC's goalkeeper Freddy Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes La Curtiembre FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Heriberto. Serafino Mogel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 83rd minute of the match Humberto Lidon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Humberto Lidon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Humberto Lidon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Endura Arreguia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Oliverios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Equino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Mederi to maneuver through the defense.
