A collision led to Tortuguitas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tobias Ederono hit a great ball. Aureliano Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorio Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Christian Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Cristian Gamus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingos Nisio. The goal made the score 1-0. Maximiliano Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hilario Valerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Urtzi having to make a save. After having played for 42 minutes, Hilario Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortuguitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Cresitobalo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Anselmo Seguinus made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tortuguitas's Domingos Nisio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Arturo Cresitobalo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the San Agustín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Cresitobalo couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hilario Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Gamus in the 71st minute of play forced Tortuguitas's goalkeeper Domingos Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes San Agustín got a freekick which was hit by Doctor Alban. In the 80th minute of the match, Aureliano Aimar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Urtzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Arturo Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Gamus in the 88th minute of play forced Tortuguitas's goalkeeper Domingos Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arturo Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Anselmo Seguinus notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tortuguitas's Domingos Nisio. Domingos Nisio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Agustín's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
