Jurel FC were furious when Roman Acosta was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 15 minutes into the game, one of Jurel FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for AFC Richmond. Gabriel Jesco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evelio Pietro. 0-2. Evelio Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Jesco in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Ferran in the 87th minute of play forced Jurel FC's goalkeeper Evelio Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Pietro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Victoriano Ferran sent off a good shot on target. If Gabriel Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Osoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evelio Pietro came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Osoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. The Jurel FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Richmond's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Richmond.
