Virgilio Rameriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Maciel AFC's Iker Sendoa got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Abel Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Haedo Sur Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Oliveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Maciel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Oliveiro came free, but Virgilio Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Esteban Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haedo Sur Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Oliveiro in the 74th minute of play forced Maciel AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Pirmin in the 78th minute of play. Haedo Sur Football Club were furious when Ruben Garin was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Haedo Sur Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maciel AFC:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Maciel AFC. Damaso Balendin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Segundo Steven. 2-3. Abel Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Iker Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abel Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Izel got free with Virgilio Rameriz in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
