Spectators: 7396 (Terracing: 5548, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damaso Darien got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Fulgencio Llin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oil Pollution FC and the Pikas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Oil Pollution FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Llin. Ubaldo Franco hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Darien in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Garzón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Jesus Martino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pikas's Cosme Barros got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Jesus Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Leonardo Paublo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pikas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oil Pollution FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Pikas got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Paublo. Oil Pollution FC's Miguel Elizardo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pikas's Alfredo Kismi got control of the ball when Fulgencio Llin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pikas booed when Oil Pollution FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damaso Darien, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vicente Garzón was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cosme Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vicente Garzón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Kismi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Llin in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Elizardo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Oil Pollution FC's Abel Cebo got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cosme Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pikas's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Garzón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pikas getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leonardo Paublo hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Leonardo Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Vicente Garzón made a huge save. Primitivo Filipo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vicente Garzón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Darien in the 73rd minute of play. Alfredo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Elizardo in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Damaso Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Garzón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Llin in the 83rd minute of play forced Pikas's goalkeeper Alfredo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
