Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Hodei started the match with the kick off. Silvano Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Herminio Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Humboldt AFC's goalkeeper Niceto Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Medero charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Medero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Hodei struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Niceto Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaiser FC. After having played for 19 minutes, Rigoberto Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaiser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Teofilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Bernabe Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Frechoso's late challenge caught a Humboldt AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Frechoso kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Niceto Gutierrez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Salvidor went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Godfredo Boni hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Hernan Elivareo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Humboldt AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaiser FC the free kick. Hernan Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fausto Hodei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Gutierrez having to interfere. Rigoberto Teofilio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Elivareo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Humboldt AFC's zone, Rigoberto Teofilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Gutierrez came out of the goal and Rigoberto Teofilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaiser FC's Rigoberto Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rigoberto Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Hodei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Rigoberto Teofilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niceto Gutierrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Humboldt AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Saverio Dominic hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Dominic during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, one of Humboldt AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Humboldt AFC. Niceto Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Silvano Adrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rigoberto Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
