Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hernan Elivareo got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Silvio Eguerdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Humboldt AFC and the Espirillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5thth minute of the game Pascual Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Humboldt AFC's Niceto Gutierrez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Adrian Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Hernan Elivareo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Guillermo Nayely to make any attempt to save it. Florentino Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Pascual Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Florentino Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Gutierrez having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Pascual Gipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gutierrez. Humboldt AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Gipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Gipuzkoa made a kick off. Primitivo Rozarius hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Godfredo Boni's late challenge caught a Espirillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Boni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Florentino Dorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florentino Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Gipuzkoa in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Gutierrez saved Humboldt AFC from getting behind. If Silvano Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Gipuzkoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Gutierrez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Gipuzkoa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Adrio in the 80th minute of play forced Espirillos's goalkeeper Guillermo Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Hernan Elivareo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Nayely was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Silvano Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Guillermo Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
