Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teobaldo Veremundo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rene Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Resto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rene Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Seguinus in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Luciano Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Neuquen's Placido Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teobaldo Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Amancio Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Neuquen booed when Chañarmullo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chañarmullo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Placido Asier scored to the left of an out of position Amancio Gartxot, making the score, 1-0. In the 38th minute, Teobaldo Veremundo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Teobaldo Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Neuquen's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Veremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Gartxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Nel took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Gartxot. Amancio Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Teobaldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacinto Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Heli came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Chañarmullo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Heli couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Veremundo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Teobaldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Nel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Amancio Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Neuquen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Gartzi got free with Rene Ted in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amancio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Veremundo in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Nicasio Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Neuquen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Genaro Chayo put in a rough tackle. Genaro Chayo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Veremundo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chañarmullo's Amancio Gartxot. Amancio Gartxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teobaldo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Gartxot having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Haroldo Igon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Neuquen and the Chañarmullo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Pirmin during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Neuquen booed when Chañarmullo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Pirmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Chañarmullo's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Veremundo came free, but Amancio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Veremundo in the 86th minute of the match. Jacinto Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gustavo Loren fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarmullo's protests and gave Gustavo Loren a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Chañarmullo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Neuquen:s goal. Chañarmullo:s Amancio Gartxot showed great skill when he stopped Nicasio Urti:s penalty. In the 96th minute, Teobaldo Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Atletico Neuquen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
