After a rather tough play, LIVERPOOL FC's Braulio Roldanillo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute, Ever Ludueña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute of the game Bartolo Lucero made a throw-in which Gabriel Mendiko played forward. The supporters of BURTON ALBION booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Perpinya didn't get a good kick on the ball.
