Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicasio Theobald took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Feliciano Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Eduino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio-César Falcioni having to make a save. 10 minutes into the game, C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's Edgard Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio-César Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Edgard Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clodoveo Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clodoveo Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aureliano Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Theobald in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Feliciano Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Abella having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Edgard Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Sportivo Sabalero and the El Porvenir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, C.A. Sportivo Sabalero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Rubio to maneuver through the defense. When Esteve Pero came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the El Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Pero couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Rubio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Rubio in the 52nd minute of play forced El Porvenir's goalkeeper Julio-César Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, El Porvenir's Nicasio Theobald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Abella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliciano Lore hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Baldomiro Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio-César Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Emmanuel in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Edgard Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio-César Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's Benjamin Eleder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio-César Falcioni. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. Aureliano Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in El Porvenir's zone, Edgard Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio-César Falcioni came out of the goal and Edgard Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Sportivo Sabalero! In the 88thth minute of the game Edgard Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Porvenir's Julio-César Falcioni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to C.A. Sportivo Sabalero getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Feliberto Marino hit a great ball. Aureliano Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Benjamin Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Eleder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 98 played minutes El Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Pero. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
