The supporters of Boedo 5 booed when Mercedes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aaron Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercedes AFC's Cayetano Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Gau in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Lucas Benvido got a free kick in the 26th minute. Aaron Oalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucho Valdez's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Angelo Arotza scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Gauargi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cayetano Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Celso Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Naldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureliano Kismi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucho Valdez was the one to do the kick off. Lucho Valdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Oalo having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Boedo 5's goal looked a bit too open when Lucho Valdez came free, but Aaron Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucho Valdez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Oalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Lucho Valdez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Oalo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Carmelo Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Gau during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justo Gau hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hipolito Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Boedo 5 got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Fernendo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Acosta got free with Cayetano Gauargi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th match minute, Boedo 5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucho Valdez in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Oalo saved Boedo 5 from getting behind. Lucho Valdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Oalo having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Prudencio Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lucho Valdez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Oalo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Boedo 5 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
